New Year! New Yoga!

Happy New Year to you all! Wishing you all the health, love and happiness for 2021.


How are you? How are you feeling about 2021? Worried, optimistic, uncertain?


My year has started well within myself despite the uncertainity present in my life and the world. I have no certainty in my life in any area and I have learnt to cope with this, manage and navigate through this by my spiritual beliefs, my faith in the universe and my own strength of character. There are many times I have had dark nights of the soul in the past twelve months whilst at the same time being the happiest I have ever been in my own skin. The paradox of 2020. The year when most people feel lost, is the year I found my way back to myself.


Yoga has been a part of this journey. Last year just cemented my belief in a cherished dream of a few of years: that I would love to become a qualified yoga teacher.

I suddenly remembered writing it down in a notebook, just notes of my dreams in life. I never thought I could attain these things.

Then a curious thing struck me. I've attained quite a few of them and on the path to evolving into many of them. Without even realising it or actively pursuing them.

There are two fairly big dreams yet to be realised....these are probably the closest to my heart and soul ever. Some days I feel optimistic, others like yesterday I feel down and say to myself I may as well give up.


Then yoga enters the stage and brings me back to me and my centre. I get up everyday at 7am to start an online class from 8am to 9am with an exceptional and inspiring teacher.


I can't imagine myself and my life without yoga. It brings out the best and happiest version of me.
